Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, our products are made with water-resistant materials.
All the wood and fabrics we use are suitable for outdoor usage and resistant to moisture and rain.
They are protected with special treatments for long-lasting use.
Over time, with normal use, scratches and fine cracks might appear on the surfaces of wooden materials.
Furthermore, in extremely humid environments, wood exposed to high humidity can experience deformation, and these are common occurrences.
To minimise these problems, you should follow the usage and care instructions included with the products.
Yes, the installation is quite easy.
All parts and installation instructions are included; you won't need any additional assistance.
Noises coming from the product are usually caused by the mounting screws not being fully tightened.
Please check the connection points and make sure all bolts are fully tightened.
For long-term use in all climates, your product should be lightly sanded twice a year with fine sandpaper, once before and after each season.
After sanding, dust the wood surface with a soft sponge or cotton cloth.
Teak Oil should be applied to products made of IROKO wood, and Water-Based Varnish should be applied to products made of PINE wood.
Protect your product from harsh weather conditions; we recommend using the original Aida Swing Cover for seasonal protection.
When relocating the swing, lift it carefully instead of dragging, and never hold it from the moving or side table parts.
Do not exceed the maximum load capacity indicated in the Installation Manual; side tables are not designed to carry more than 8 kg (18 lb).
The swing is designed for back-and-forth motion only, avoid side movements and ensure at least 70 cm (28") clearance behind the backrest.
For reclinable models, make sure both sides are evenly adjusted and the backrest remains balanced; ideally, adjustments should be made by two people.
During extremely windy weather, turn the canopy opposite to the wind direction or remove it entirely.
